Spring Summer 2022 trends prove to be a bright spot at a time of growing anxiousness and uncertainty. Fashion prevails in its true form of escapism, fun and joy. This season the runway came to full bloom in luscious color, psychedelic print and more-is-better mentality. After two years of virtual shows, supply chain issues and iconic brick and mortar closures Spring fashion is peacocking. By that we mean it-is-time to show out. We looked over shows and reports from fashion editors the world over and collected what we see as the best spring trends that encompass relevancy for right now along with timeless appeal in styling. 1. Psychedelic Print and Bold Color
You may have noticed neutral hues are our mojo, but this season we are tapping into some Pantone play that doubles as an energetic mood lift and evokes a timeless modernity within your closet. We launched Spring 2022 with an array of Lilac, Blues, Lime Green and Poppy Red. And we are in good company too. This season the runways saw marching rainbow of color from Versace psychedelic prints to Brandon Maxwell, Valentino, and Isabel Marant floral mini dresses. Color was a high-profile star during the Spring fashion weeks making bold color and print fashion trend must have numero uno to last beyond this Spring 2022. Brands weren’t being shy this year. Tom Ford and Loewe even took those bold colors and added shine with their metallic fabrics. If anything, this is your sign to mix bold colors, layer prints and try the unexpected . It’s like the universe is telling us to be fierce and be seen this spring. Transferring these intense looks from the runway to your everyday wear is easier than it sounds and welcoming. 2. The new One and Done
This classic workwear one-and-done piece is taking over street style. Even fashionistas love a chic look in 15 seconds or less. Look out for all forms of a Jumpsuit this Spring Summer. Editors and style gurus alike know, a one piece is an incredible styling tool that takes minimal effort but still looks polished. A well made jumpsuit (like our Riveter Jumpsuit) can be styled up and down for maximum versatility. The Spring runway was alight with unique variations like the sporty sleek Stella McCartney neon catsuit with strategic eye-catching cutouts. Working with our factory and mills we first curated dead stock fabrics looking for a soft and drape worthy material. Once we found a few yards of this Bottle Green in a Recycled Cotton blend with Tencel and just the right amount of Spandex, we knew. Just like you’ll know after that first try on. With small styling change-ups this jumpsuit can go from work desk to weekend. Monday through Friday, button up with a blazer , cardigan or chic scarf and low heel. On Saturday night unwind the look with a subtle peek-a-boo bralette then wake up and throw on a white sneaker for farmer’s market flower shopping. 3. Optimistic White
Although bright color is leading the Spring 2022 trend list, it just would not be Spring without Bright White. White ushers in that crisp spring clean feeling, an automatic sense of optimism and a calming balance to bold color. Wearing color with shades of neutral hues adds balance. In lieu of color-to-the-max brands like Tod turned heads in Milan with Spring Summer crochet mini dresses and laser-cut-outs crochet tops. Chloé gave us shades of white in breezy looks whispering seaside vacation. Fendi went more optic bright white with belted blazers layered over coordinating white bra tops and fluid white trousers. (Honestly, I can’t think of any outfit more optimistic that a white suit. Especially with my track record.) While those brands went all neutral, Gabriela Hearst is a good example of the balance and proportion used between color and white / black grounds. Staying true to their NYC minimalism, designer Khaite, also blended natural notes of citrine, gold and off-white. Taking a page from these designers’ Spring 2022 palette, it’s clear. Any shade of white is game on. An easy white look to incorporate from the runway into your everyday is an all white monochrome outfit. 4. Matching sets
Trends aside, one thing we all agree on this Spring and Summer, simple is best. Spending more time at home over the pandemic we have simplified what we surround ourselves with and who. While the runway showcases peacocking color and print, we also desire ease. What could be more effortless that a coordinating outfit all ready to go. Be on the look out for matching sets. 5. Pant Proportion
Forgo the ultra miniskirts seen on the catwalks of Prada and Miu Miu. Instead of higher hemlines go for a more longer lasting bottom line. The Wide Leg pant. They were all over New York Fashion Week this February 2022 and look set to stay in style not just for Spring and Summer but beyond. 6. Get in Line

Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and Jil Sander all leaned on the iconic spring appeal of stripes. Whether Comme des Garcon’s iconic stripe heart tee, or Breton boatneck, stripes never fail to beckon the aura of Spring. This is one classic pattern to always look chic. You probably already have a nautical T-shirt in your collection buts it is also the perfect opportunity to expand your stripe repertoire. Wear all over stripes for a summer weddings, then dial it down using one striped piece as a focal point for everyday wear.
