A Letter from the Founders about NYFW Street Style

See Rose Go aspirational plus size design through meticulous detail and innovative comfort in size 14-28

Dear See Rose Go Community,

We are writing you to share some exciting news about a new project we are producing for New York Fashion Week.

At See Rose Go we believe in championing every woman through her personal experience and story, beyond the size label in her clothing. As we approach NYFW we are focused on this woman as we hear and see her story through the lens of street style.

Street style is at the pulse of fashion culture. We believe, and are committed to the effort, that photography represent the true reality of street style for SRG women. This exposes the fashion world to diverse backgrounds, inspiration and personal expression.

We see and hear the lack of representation of diverse women wearing plus size in NYFW street style photography. And this September we are taking action to do something about it!

We are teaming with a diverse group women who have a story to tell and are forces to be recognized: Maddy Jones, Kelly Augustine, Meaghan O’Connor, Maxey Greene and photographer Lydia Hudgens.

See Rose Go will produce and broadcast high-fashion, quality, street-style imagery which depicts diversity in age, size and ethnicity. These images will express each woman’s own story through personal style.

The brand focus for See Rose Go is simply on the woman. Her ambition, what she is passionate about and what makes her go. We have set out to expand the street style narrative to include more diverse women and their story.

Please follow along as we create this exciting new imagery which celebrates all women, what they represent and their expression of style.

Thank you,

Erin and Yi
