After five years as an HR director in Atlanta, Gess Pugh decided to pursue her passion by making the move to New York City and build a career as a model and wardrobe stylist.
As a creative outlet Gess has started a series on Instagram called #RIHCreate where she re-creates outfits worn by Rihanna. Gess says, "I decided that I wanted to pursue my passion for fashion, as cliché as that sounds, and work to diversify the fashion industry with not only just being a Black woman but also being plus-size," she told Insider.
Gess saw a photo of Rihanna wearing a striped white tunic, a denim skirt, and blue velvet booties on Pinterest, which sparked her first look by wearing See ROSE Go!
